A beautiful Tailed Jay Butterfly in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality 300gsm white textured card stock which includes both the scientific and common name of the insect below.

Native to Nepal, India, Sri Lanka through Southeast Asia and Australia. Once found primarily close to wooded country where there is a fairly heavy rainfall, the tailed jay is now very common at low elevations and regularly seen in gardens and urban areas due to its food plant, Polyalthia longifolia (false ashoka or mast tree), being widely used as an ornamental tree.

Taxonomic: Graphium agamemnon

Common Name: Tailed Jay

Frame: Available in black, white or grey. The frame can either be stood up or wall mounted using the invisible bracket.

Corner Decals: Vintage bronze metal corners which are nailed on by hand on all four corners.

Sizing: 20cm x 20cm (Aperture 17cm x 17cm)

Please note: The specimen you receive may differ in colour slightly since you are purchasing a natural product and lighting conditions differ. This is not the exact specimen you will receive.

Shipping: Price includes U.K. postage. International postage is available at additional cost which is calculated at checkout depending on location.

If you have seen a different type of frame in my previous work which you would like, please send me a message and I would be happy to arrange this for you.
